Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Hireqo, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using Hireqo on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these terms.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Employer accounts may subscribe to a paid plan (Starter, Growth, Professional, or Enterprise). Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe and renew automatically unless cancelled. Add-on verification services (identity checks, background checks, etc.) are billed per use.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post job listings for unlawful employment or that discriminate on a protected basis.
- Submit false information in an application, profile, or verification request.
- Use Hireqo to harass, defame, or harm another user.
- Attempt to circumvent or interfere with the platform's security or rate limits.
5. Background checks
Background and identity checks are performed by third-party vendors and require the candidate's explicit consent before any check is initiated. Employers may only use background check results for legitimate hiring purposes and in compliance with the FCRA and applicable state law.
6. Termination and suspension
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including for fraud, misuse of the verification system, or harassment of other users. Suspended accounts may appeal by contacting support.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
Hireqo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hireqo's liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
