What location data Hireqo's workforce features collect, and when
This policy explains where and when Hireqo's workforce features record your device's GPS location, and applies to employees whose employer has enabled these features. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
Summary: Location is only captured at the moments described below (clock-in/out, visit verification, and geofenced job sites) — Hireqo does not continuously track your location in the background.
Hireqo does not track your location continuously or in the background, does not track location outside of the specific actions listed above (e.g., while you are off the clock), and does not sell location data to third parties.
Captured location points are visible to your employer's authorized administrators for timesheet, scheduling, and billing-verification purposes, and to Hireqo staff as needed to operate and support the platform.
A number of states require employers to give employees specific advance notice before using location or GPS monitoring in the workplace. Employers are responsible for providing any notice or consent required under the laws of the states in which their employees work before enabling these features — Hireqo provides the tooling but does not act as the employer.
Clock-in/out and EVV location capture are generally required to use those specific features, since they exist to verify the time and place work was performed. If you have concerns about a specific request, contact your employer directly, or reach us at legal@hireqo.com.
