1. Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and role (employer or jobseeker). Employers additionally provide a company name; jobseekers may add a headline and other profile details.
As you use Hireqo, we collect additional information depending on the features you use: job applications and references, shift schedules and GPS coordinates captured at clock-in and job-site check-in, timesheets and payroll records, and — where you opt in — identity and background check results from our verification partners.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to operate the core features of Hireqo: matching candidates to jobs, scheduling shifts, processing payroll, running background and identity verification checks, and sending you account and operational notifications.
3. Third-party service providers
We share data with the following service providers as necessary to operate Hireqo:
- Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions, and identity verification.
- Checkr — background check processing, where you have consented to a background check.
- Resend — transactional email delivery (account notifications, status updates).
- Supabase — our database and authentication infrastructure provider.
4. Background check information (FCRA)
Where you consent to a background check, the raw results are only ever shared with the verification vendor and are never displayed to either party in full — both the employer and the candidate only see a mapped status (e.g., "Clear", "Consider"). Background checks are subject to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and equivalent state laws.
5. Location data
GPS coordinates are captured only at the moment you clock in to a shift or check in at a job site, and are visible to your employer for compliance purposes. We do not track your location at any other time.
6. Data retention
We retain account and operational data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as required for legal, tax, and compliance purposes.
